The holiday house
The holiday house “il melograno, very pretty and original, is in the neighborhood of Monteverde, close to Trastevere, is well connected with the center and can accommodate 4 people and add a bed for 1 child. There is a lovely garden terrace and all the amenities for a comfortable holiday in Rome.
The house, cozy, comfortable, clean and functional, give a feeling of well-being.
It is designed to make you feel in relax, like in your house ... but staying in our house in Rome, made according to our taste.
The location in the beautiful neighborhood of Monteverde, helps to meet the desire to feel part of the city. We like to think that staying in our home can make a decisive contribution to make beautiful your experience in Rome and that our house will be placed between your beautiful travel memories.

We expect the maximum respect for the rules of coexistence within the condominiums and for the house. Please respect the quiet of the other people.
The obligation to avoid loud noises, established by the City of Rome are:
from 14.00 to 16.00
from 22.00 to 08.00
• It’s forbidden to organize parties and introduce other people in the house, in addition to paying guests.
• In the apartment you can’t smoke, you can do it just outside, in the terrace.
• You can’t bring animals.
• You must apply the rules of waste sorting (on the road you will see boxes).
• The dishes must be left clean.
• The apartment is equipped with railings, cause the house is on the ground floor. It is recommended, before leaving, always closing railings and the door with keys.
• Turn off appliances, especially air conditioners, and all the lights when you leave.
• Avoid using too many appliances at the same time to avoid a black-out.
• In case of loss of the keys you are requested compensation of € 120 (for new lock european cylinder). In case of damage to a key it is required for compensation of € 20 (copy key european cylinder).
Access to Guests
Guests can expect all the services that everyone would like to have in their home.
The wi-fi is free (we will provide to give you user and password) for keeping you to be connected to your friends and relatives and for all web uses permitted.
It is available a TV (32 inch screen) with satellite and digital terrestrial. Air conditioners are in every room, (but the large walls keep the house fresh in the summer and warm in the winter) and, in winter, the heating system of the palace will also be active.
In the kitchen you have a dishwasher, fridge freezer, stove and bakery, as well as all the equipment to cook including dishes, kitchen utensils, towels and everything needed for the collection of rubbish.
In the bathroom the shower is very large and beautiful with a shower-head from the water jet enveloping all covered with mosaics. An hairdryer is available.
They are also available iron and ironing board. The washing machine and drying rack are located outside on the garden terrace, where there is also a table with chairs and a big umbrella. We put out an ashtray for those who want to smoke because inside is not allowed to do so. In a cabinet, always outside, you can find all the equipment to for cleaning. We give you all the bed linen and towels.
We live close the apartment so it is possible for us, to give you all information and help if you need. If you arrive by car, in the area you will find free parking spaces in the immediate vicinity and with a little “luck”, even in front of the house.
For those who have special needs, there are also guarded parking fee. A few steps from the house, there is a bakery where you can buy an excellent pizza, breads and some food products, there is also the butcher, one of the best pizzerias in Rome, bars and restaurants, pharmacy, newsstand and tobacconist and some internet point internet if you have not a personal device or you need to print documents.
We will provide a map for better orientation in the neighborhood and a small guide with all directions to more easily and more beautiful places in the center of Rome as well as a lot of leaflets with tourist information or related to exhibitions and events and cards with the addresses of bars and restaurants/pizzerias nearby.
I'm from Naples but I live in Rome from many years. I love both of these towns a lot.
On Sunday morning you can go to the market "Porta Portese", accessible by a short tram ride.
